On the occasion of the Dusseldorf Cologne Open Galleries Weekend on September 4th/5th/6th we’re opening in a new location.

We’re looking forward to Reinhard Muchas first solo-exhibition in his birth-and hometown since 1986.
The exhibition takes place parallel in the new as well as the old VAN HORN spaces.

Early, partly unseen works (et al.), will be on view . Some from a time before, resp.during his studies, as well as pieces of friendly and other artists, with which he and his family are surrounded in their home. The exhibition opens a view on the all-over of the world of thought of an artist, who makes the setting and occasion of an exhibition part of his concept.
Simultaneously Mucha shows – until September 29 – “Auto Reverse 2009”, 1995 (2009) in the old space of the gallery. An installation, which will be on view in this new version for the first time.

The exhibition takes place with the friendly support of Galerie Bärbel Grässlin,Frankfurt a. M. and of Luhring Augustine, New York.

We would like to point out, that Muchas main oeuvre „Das Deutschlandgerät“ is permanently on view at the Kunstsammlung Nordrhein Westfalen, Museum im Ständehaus K21.
