*1979 in Neunkirchen/Saar
lives and works in Cologne.

In her paintings, Sabrina Fritsch explores the potential of pictorial invention and the mechanisms of perception as a creative tool and cognitive riddle. Her works deal with coarse structures, textile surfaces and filigree overlaps that refer to space or body illusions without being utterly formulated.  Her approach is often influenced by the confrontation with production processes and their attributes (risograph) or figurative associations, such as silhouettes or tiled walls, which she conveys into her paintings. The play with the perception of the viewer is part of the narration that arises.
