ART DÜSSELDORF | STAND H08
In her work she finds new interpretations of global cultural history, whether from literature, popular belief or pop culture; Attributions and their changes in gender identities, tradition and modernity, form the conceptual core of Anys‘ works, which are primarily based on her sculptural portraits… object-like investigations, and her collage paintings as a medium of manifestation.
„My compositions are human fragments. Dermal. Investigations of sensitivities, sensuality, sensibility and the greatest possible closeness. Intimacy. To get „under the skin“. In search of the essential and the individual. Being human.“
Her works are collected by acclaimed institutions and private collections such as Kunstsammlung NRW K20K21, Düsseldorf; Stiftung Kunstpalast, Düsseldorf; Kunstmuseum Bonn; Kunstmuseum Mülheim; Museum Abteiberg, Mönchengladbach; Kunsthalle Mannheim; Kunstsammlung der Provinzial, Düsseldorf; Sammlung Deutsche Bundesbank; Sammlung Philara, Sammlung Scharpff-Striebich, Monika Schnetkamp Collection, Sammlung Peters-Messer, Viersen; Miettinen Collection, Berlin/Helsinki, Stiftung Der Bewohnte Garten, Pulheim; Sammlung Haus N, Kiel/Athen; Sammlung Art Düsseldorf et al.
